Dimensional Funds ICVC Onboarding Guidance

Thank you for choosing to invest in Dimensional Funds ICVC. This guide details the steps to create your account with SS&C, the funds’ Transfer Agent. SS&C should be your primary contact for account matters ([email protected]), but please email Dimensional Operations at [email protected] if you need additional support.

2. Before completing the application, please read the Key Investor Information Document (KIID) or the Packaged Retail and Insurance-Based Investment Products Key Information Document (PRIIP KID), as applicable, for each Dimensional fund in which you are investing. Access fund documents here.


3. Complete and sign the application form. Include any supporting documents requested in the form (e.g., authorised signatory list, bank account details).


4. Forward all pages to SS&C via:

5. Once SS&C sends an email confirming that your application has been received and is in good order, please post the original or a certified true copy of each page of the complete application and any additional required documents to SS&C at:

6. Provide additional information upon request. 
   SS&C will request additional paperwork based on your responses in the application. 
   (See Section G2 of the application for details.)
   
   Important: If SS&C requests more paperwork before you have posted the application form, include the additional documents in the post. Otherwise, SS&C will set up your account and follow up after you place your initial purchase.
   
   
7. Account opening requests can take up to five business days. After this time, please contact SS&C on at 0370 707 0073 to obtain your account number. You can then initiate trades.

Purchases

• Electronic straight-through processing (STP) via Calastone or EMX is the preferred method. For configuration support, contact SS&C at the number below.
• The Upload Portal, mentioned in Step 4 can also be used to upload trades.
• If you do not have STP capability, you can fax purchase instructions to SS&C at 0330 123 3755. 
• Purchase instructions received in good order by our transfer agent prior to 12 pm will receive that day’s Net Asset Value. Instructions received in good order after 12 pm will receive the next day’s Net Asset Value.

Settlement

• Purchases settle on the third business day after deal placement (T + 3). Payment instructions per currency are listed in the application. 
• Important: If you do not settle a subscription on time (T + 3), it may be subject to a late settlement charge.

Originals/Certified True Copies

• You may send copies that have been certified by a third party as true copies of the originals. Copies can be certified by a practicing solicitor, notary public, certified and public accountant, embassy and consular staff or a designated body.
• Requirements:
• Each document should be marked with the statement, “I have seen the original document and certify that this is a complete and accurate copy of the original.”
• Provide the full name and signature of the individual certifying the documentation.
• State the name and address of the organization for which the individual works.
• Include the date the certification was performed.
